Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon: A Must-Have Wine
Any fellow bold wine lovers out there? If you haven’t tried the Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon yet, trust me, you need to. I first tried it during an anniversary outing at The Wine Room Kitchen and Bar in Delray Beach. It’s a super cool spot where you can try all kinds of wines by the serving size, similar to Hopportunities on Federal Highway but with wine instead of beer. Plus, they have artisanal cheeses and charcuterie for perfect pairings. Wine Spectator has recognized this place, and it was here that our server suggested we give the Austin Hope a shot.
The Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon was first launched with the 2015 vintage, and since then, it’s been making waves as a luxury wine from Paso Robles. Every time I meet someone from Paso Robles, they rave about it! This wine is bold, silky, and velvety, with amazing structure. You’ll get flavors of vanilla, tobacco, and even hints of chocolate. The tannins are strong and the finish is long-lasting. Honestly, it won me over from the very first sip, and (kinda ruined it for me too) nothing else I tasted that night could compare.
Another time, I brought my mom to The Wine Room, and we were debating between the Austin Hope and the Caymus. Of course, I leaned into the Austin Hope, knowing I’d end up sticking with it. I should’ve checked the vintage (rookie mistake), but thankfully, many wine stores carry this beauty. Now, we make it a point to grab a glass of it whenever we go, and I recommend it to anyone who appreciates a bold, luxurious wine. You won’t be disappointed!
