LYV Rose
LYV Rosé from Languedoc to our Glass
Other than this beautiful bottle, look at all those angles! The design feels perfectly imperfect, giving it a distinctive, almost artistic character. Just looking at it, you expect something premium. And whether that influenced my perception or not, my taste buds certainly agreed.
LYV Rosé, from the Languedoc region of France, is made from a blend of Rhône grape varieties; Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. It was such a pleasant surprise! The aroma is slightly fruity, while the wine itself is dry, smooth on the palate, and beautifully balanced and refreshing. I also picked up lovely strawberry notes during my tasting.
This is definitely a wine you’ll want to enjoy chilled. It offers more than you might expect at first glance, and it’s simply delicious. I paired mine with a salad, and it was a lovely match. A rosé I would happily pour again!
