Chevalier Alexis Lichine Sauvignon Blanc, 2022
Zesty and Easy Alexis Lichine Sauvignon Blanc
Chevalier Alexis Lichine Sauvignon Blanc captures a lot of what people enjoy about fresh, uncomplicated French white wines. It shows lively aromas of citrus, green apple, and fresh-cut grass, with just a hint of tropical fruit. I first tried this at The French Wine Merchant about two years ago and ended up buying extra bottles to keep at home—it quickly became a reliable “life saver” wine for casual entertaining.
At around $14.99, it offers very good value: crisp, zesty, refreshing, and easy to pour for guests without overthinking it. I’ve also had the great “honor” #lol of trying its cousin, the Chardonnay version. I gotta say, I really like that one too. I haven’t had the Cabernet Sauvignon yet, but I definitely look forward to trying it one day. I noticed it kept selling pretty fast at The French Wine Merchant, which only made me more curious.
