Samuel Robert: Sweet Surprise Pinot
Oregon’s Finest in a Glass
Samuel Robert Pinot Noir Willamette Family Reserve, 2022—now this one caught me by surprise! It’s got a sweet side, with lovely aromas that are just as enticing on the nose. For those who enjoy sweet wines (like me!), you’re in for a treat.
Around the same time, we had just gotten a gorgeous New World Pinot glass from Riedel, and let me tell you, it paired perfectly with this bottle! I had to take a picture so you can also see this beautiful glass. The shape enhances the aromas and makes the experience smoother.
Hailing from Oregon, this Pinot delivers delightful berries and earthy notes, making it super easy to drink. I believe this could go great with some pork or chicken dishes, so next time, I’ll be sure to whip up a meal worthy of this gem. We had tried the regular bottle from Samuel Robert before (they do great wines), but this Family Reserve has quickly become my favorite. And at just $22.99 at Total Wine? You really can’t beat it!
