Harry’s Bar Cipriani Bellini: A Pleasant Surprise

Harry’s Bar Cipriani Bellini: A Pleasant SurpriseScore 90%Score 90%

When I thought I wasn’t the type to go for champagne cocktails, of course, I discovered this gem. Unlike a typical mimosa or a regular Bellini, this pre-made cocktail is an absolute delight—perfect for sipping as a cocktail or enjoying at brunch. This Prosecco is ideal for summer events, adorned with fragrant bubbles, and what’s best, it’s the original Giuseppe Cipriani Bellini straight from Harry’s Bar in Venice.

The Presentation

The bottle itself is quite eye-catching. Its turquoise color with a silver-wrapped cork definitely stands out on a wine shop shelf. But it’s not just about the shop appeal—when I placed this beauty on my counter, it immediately grabbed everyone’s attention. The design is elegant and interesting, and it’s funny that I picked it up at a French shop in Palm Beach Island. The colors reminded me very much of Palm Beach, despite it being an Italian wine.

I took this picture with my photo box (Amazon has some great stuff). During my editing session, I tried to capture the happy moments this wine would evoke for me.

The Taste

After chilling the wine as recommended, I was also impressed by the easy-to-open cork. It was different and just as unique as the bottle’s presentation. Whoever thought about the bottle’s design deserves a raise—no need to use a stopper. The design for sure enhanced the tasting experience for me. I absolutely loved and enjoyed this wine. It strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and tartness without being overly sweet. The low alcohol content explains why I nearly finished the entire bottle myself without even noticing.

The mix of fresh white peaches with Prosecco was new to me, but it definitely made an impact. I ended up buying three more bottles the following week at the same shop. One tip (personal preference): For my second bottle, I SLOWLY turned it upside down for a few seconds before opening it. This helped mix the pulp more evenly and avoided the surprise of extra pulp toward the end.

A Quick Trip

I found out there is a Bellini restaurant in Coconut Grove #Miami, and decided to experience the Bellini there. I #ofcourse, first confirmed that they do serve the same bottled drink. The restaurant was beautiful, with great attention to detail and fantastic food. We also had a pretty neat view from the balcony. Naturally, I ordered my new favourite cocktail (the Bellini #ofcourse), and it tasted even better—served in a cocktail coupe with a lovely foam on top, making it crisper and more refreshing. However, the portion was tiny, especially considering it cost the same as a whole bottle! While a delightful experience, I must admit I was a bit disappointed by the small serving size. Nevertheless, I understand the business and it did work out for them as I couldn’t help myself and ordered a second one.

I encourage you to try it and let me know what you think—whether it’s your experience at one of their restaurants or even from your homemade versions. Let me know below!
