A Soft and Fruity Rosé with a Floral Touch

I picked up this bottle thinking it would be similar to Gordonne Springs since it’s also from Château La Gordonne, but it turned out to be a little different—which wasn’t a bad thing. It has a nice soft pink color and a smooth, easy-drinking style with a gentle punch of fruity flavor. There’s also a subtle floral note, almost like a soft perfume, that makes it really pleasant. I had it while making myself a salad, and it paired nicely, but next time I want to try it with a light cream pasta. Normally, I go for Chardonnay with creamy dishes, but I’m curious to see how this rosé works with that kind of pairing. Overall, it’s an easy wine to enjoy and one I’d buy again.
