Stella Rosa Rosso
Stella Rosa Rosso (or whatever the original red semi-sweet version) was one of my go-to wines when I first started getting into vino—I definitely began on the sweeter side. It’s also the wine that got my mom into Stella Rosa, and to this day it’s still a staple. Another favorite from the lineup is the peach version, but Rosso remains a classic.
Stella Rosa is well known and easy to find at most grocery stores, and over the years I’ve noticed the brand expanding with many more flavors. If you enjoy wines on the sweet side and aren’t sure what to choose, this is a reliable option. It’s very approachable, fruity, and versatile enough for different occasions. It’s not overly sweet—just sweet enough—and for the price, it delivers great value. Anytime I pick up wine for my mom, this is always included because I know she’ll ask for it regardless.

Verdict (Value Wine) Light, fruity aromas with a soft, pleasant perfume. On the palate, it’s smooth and fruit-forward with an easy-drinking sweetness. Slightly bubbly.
