Wildlilly: A Chilled Pinot Noir Chardonnay Blend
Creative Idea, Vibrant Color, Mixed Experience
This Wildlilly Pinot Noir Chardonnay blend is certainly unique, but it didn’t quite land for me. While the concept is creative—fresh, chilled, and inspired by a Beaujolais-style approach—the execution felt somewhat confused. Chilling it, as recommended, did help bring out some of its fruity character, but overall the wine didn’t seem sure of what it wanted to be, for me.
The presentation and branding are beautiful; simple, modern, and I genuinely appreciate the idea behind it. However, I wish the same level of energy put into the marketing had translated into the wine’s actual quality. It leans toward the sweeter side, although at some points felt like it wanted to be dry (again for me). The wine has lots of fruit up front, yet the palate feels a bit scattered and unfocused. Still, taste is subjective, so someone who enjoys sweeter, unconventional blends may appreciate it more than I did. Other than that, I would give Wildlilly Pinot Noir Chardonnay great vibes for presentation, mostly.

Verdict Sweet-leaning fruit with bright red berry notes, soft acidity, and a light, chilled palate that feels fresh but unfocused on the finish. Is a good option for someone that wants to try something different.
